Provincial Parliament Welcome Centre
SPATIAL DESIGN
Jakupa Architects briefed Shelf to create a wall installation for the Western Cape Provincial Parliament's Welcome Centre. The graphic wall also had to function as an acoustic absorption panel. A detailed, three-tiered structure including LED lighting features was created to celebrate South African culture, while simultaneously absorbing and deflecting sound.
