LOURINA BOTHA
OWNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Lourina is an internationally recognised, multi-disciplinary designer with a knack for problem solving.
She has been involved with big brands since the beginning of her career in 2004 when she worked for advertising agency FCB in Johannesburg. After 2 years of advertising work she decided to specialise in branding and joined one of South Africa’s leading local branding agencies, HKLM. Wanting to be more closely involved with the business of design, Lourina joined Fandam Studio, a highly specialised branding and design studio in Johannesburg.
In 2009 Lourina was accepted for a cross-disciplinary spatial design Master’s programme at the prestigious Central St Martins College, University of the Arts, London. For her Master’s thesis she co-founded a design consultancy in the east end of London. The consultancy offered free design services to local businesses and was open for three months. Lourina graduated top of her class comprising students from all over the world.
